Happy International Women's Day!

Blog

March 8, 2019, marks International Women’s Day – a day to celebrate the economic, social, cultural and political contributions and achievements of women around the world. We’re shining a spotlight on the women who inspire us through their work moving the world to protect animals.

We’re incredibly proud here in the World Animal Protection Canada office to have an all-women leadership team, and to collaborate with so many women making the world a better place for animals, from journalists, to scientists, to corporate executives.

Click the boxes below to learn more about what motivates these women to make a positive impact for animals, how they have overcome barriers in their careers, advice they have for other women, and what animals have taught them.
