Together with FAIRR, we held an informative webinar on solutions to the antimicrobial resistance (AMR) global health emergency.
With an estimated 70% of global antibiotic consumption being used in animal agriculture, this is an issue that requires urgent action from a range of stakeholders and industries. Together we can move towards responsible antibiotic use in the animal protein supply chain.

Sofia Condes, Head of Investor Outreach, FAIRR
Prior to joining FAIRR in 2021, Sofia led the Innovative Finance Programme of the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN). She has also worked as a Strategy Specialist at the World Economic Forum and on Analyst at J.P. Morgan. Sofia holds on MA in International Development and Economics from the Graduate Institute of Geneva, as well as an MSc in Public Health and Health Economics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).
Lynn Kavanagh, Campaign Manager, World Animal Protection
Lynn Kavanagh oversees World Animal Protection's farming and food systems campaign. She works to change government and corporate policies to improve animal welfare, raise public awareness about the plight of form animals in Canada, and advocates for a more humane and sustainable food system. Lynn has been working in animal advocacy for over 20 years. She holds a B.A. in Philosophy and an MSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare.
